Il mondo; altri, nel ghiaccio.
Del desiderio ho gustato quel poco
Che mi fa scegliere il fuoco.
Ma se dovesse due volte finire,
So pure che cosa è odiare,
E per la distruzione posso dire
Che anche il ghiaccio è terribile
E può bastare.
